Patrick V. Hagerty, DMD

Patrick V. Hagerty, DMD, has been practicing dentistry in Albany for over 22 years. Dr. Hagerty completed his undergraduate work at Oregon State University. He earned a doctorate of medical dentistry and served a residency in hospital dentistry at Oregon Health and Sciences University.
He is currently involved in a 7 million dollar grant-funded joint research project with the University of Washington and OHSU. This project analyzes future dental materials and techniques in order to ensure the highest-quality care for all patients.
Dr. Hagerty has extensive experience and training in the restoration of dental implants and lectures on the subject of implants regularly throughout the region. He completed training at the Branemark Clinic of the University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden, the birth place of osseointegration.
His unique hospital-based focus, one of the largest in the Pacific Northwest, enables his practice to serve the special needs population of Oregon by providing services that otherwise would go untreated.
Memberships/Affiliations:
Dr. Hagerty is a member of the Albany Chamber of Commerce, a parishioner at St. Mary's, a board member and Medical Staff of Samaritan Albany General Hospital. He is a member of The Academy of Osseointegration and is Vice Chairman of the Allied Professional Staff Education, American Association of Hospital Dentists and American Dental Association.
Dr. Hagerty is an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at OHSU.
